Donate Your Car: Charity Can Start
In Your Front Yard

Donate Your Car. For busy women selling a car may not top their list of favorite things to do ---- that's because it's probably not something she's done before, feel very comfortable with or find particularly interesting ----- however most women do get excited about the opportunity to do a charitable deed, offer a helping hand when needed, and support a great cause and if she can do it without a significant amount of time involved, that's probably even better.

If you're a woman that has a car to sell, but don't want to get into the hassles of trading at a dealership and don't necessarily want to try selling your car on your own, there is another option: You can Donate Your Car. It's quick, it's easy, and it's tax deductible!

What I like most about this idea is the fact that your unwanted vehicle becomes someone else's treasure in the form of a charitable donation. And the benefits don't stop there. It give you an opportunity to support a cause or a specific organization; you don't have to deal with the hassle of writing ads, meeting strangers, or feeling ripped off by a dealership; and you can have your car off your property quickly and easily without having to take any time out of your day.

There are tons of Donate Your Car companies that support various non-profit organizations and groups.
I had an opportunity to work with one, donate a car and specify an organization to benefit. It's a really great way to do a good deed and get rid of an unneccessary car.

Before you donate your car, do some research to make sure the organization is credible and that the donation will be used as stated. Many of the organizations will allow you to select a charity of your choice. Another way to approach it is to look for an organization or cause you want to support and see if they have or are connected to a Donate Your Car program. If you're comfortable with the organization or foundation, you can work directly with them and their program to make your donation.

Car buying and selling doesn't have to be such a chore after all! Donate Your Car and consider doing a good deed.

Tip

Don't even look at
a vehicle until you know what all three credit bureaus say about your credit history

Tip

In most states,
you may obtain one (1) free credit report from each bureau. Your credit history and debt to income ratio weight heavily on your interest rate. That is why when you hear 0% financing it is immediately followed by "not all buyers qualify" or "buyer must qualify". Your "qualification" is your credit history.
