Year |
This may sound basic but sometimes we forget. The year is important when ordering
parts and also for general maintenance. |
Make and model
| Type
car and style, ex. Saturn, SC1 |
Engine
size (# of cylinders) | That's
usually 4, 6 or 8 |
VIN # | You
can usually find this number on top of the dash board on the driver's side of
the car. Just go to the driver's side window and take a peek. If you're not near
your car you can also check your Insurance Card. |
Service
history | Keep
a maintenance, repair, and service log for your car. This will help you keep your
car in tip-top shape and could also save you some time and money. |
Who last serviced the car | If
you're going to a new mechanic, it's good to let them know who serviced your car
last. |
