Mechel Glass----Contributing Writer

Mechel Glass is the Founder and President of Beat Debt, Inc., a consulting services firm that provides educational games, workshops, and money management tools that teach credit card debt management and money management strategies to help families break the cycle of credit card debt.

Prior to Mechel's current position, she worked as an International IT Project Manager for IBM where she was employed for over eleven years. She also held the position of trainer for over two and half years at IBM. She is a veteran of the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Field of study where she served during the first Persian Gulf War. She is the mother of a two year old little girl.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Mechel graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in International Affairs and a minor in International Business. She is a certified Project Manager. She has invented a series of educational games on credit card debt management one of which is the Beat Debt board game which is an educational game whose concepts center on reducing credit card debt and building up savings. Another game in the series is the card game called 'Paid Off!' This is an exciting, fast paced, intense, card game that will teach you strategies to alleviate REAL credit card debt!
